Last week, more than 100 farmers from six provinces gathered in Siem Reap at Ree Hotel to share challenges and solutions, with the participation of Cambodian, 6 different nationalities (indigenous farmers) and Youth from Bayon Agro-School facilitated by the Sustainable Soil for Life Association (SSLA).
The forum focused on farmers’ experiences and the different issues that individual farmers face, as well as providing opportunities to exchange new knowledge and demonstrate the importance of agroecology farming.
Throughout the forum, farmers also received additional training on sustainable agricultural techniques related to agroecology, including the use of appropriate agricultural inputs, the use of compost, and techniques to help strengthen resilience to climate change.
